Jane Clayton
Managing Partner

Jane brings an accomplished 20 year track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to strategically define opportunities, build, market and launch products and solutions, providing ownership and oversight throughout a product lifecycle. As founder of the Clayton Group LLC, marketing and product consulting company she ran the company for over 10 years, designing and managing many multi-faceted product and marketing programs for Microsoft. Recently she joined up with Mandira to form CVG Partners. Prior to the founding of the Clayton Group, Jane held product management, product planning and program management positions at Microsoft, designing, marketing and rolling out Office products and on-line properties. Jane has also worked for smaller companies, responsible for the total product life cycle from concept to launch. Her strengths include quickly gaining an understanding of what is needed and developing and implementing plans to meet business goals. She has a bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics from Union College and an MBA. In her spare time, Jane enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, hiking and volunteering.
Mandira Virmani

Mandira brings 10+ years of Program Management experience from Microsoft working as a Group Program Manager on the Office team, designing, developing and shipping a high quality product to millions of customers. Her experience includes employing customer research, setting product vision and features, writing specifications, working with development, program management and test to execute vision and ship products. As managing partner and principal consultant at CVG Partners, a marketing and product consulting company for the last 3+ years, she drives business development and manages projects for the company. She has managed and executed partner engagement programs, with experience in planning, program management, content development, event strategy and execution, and training. Her strengths include strong communication, leadership and driving effective collaboration across teams. She has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from Smith College. In her spare time, she spends time with her two kids, is a docent at the Seattle Art Museum, and enjoys hiking. She also serves on the Board of Trustees at the Seattle Art Museum.
